The Bell Slip
Greenpoint, Brooklyn
The Bell Slip is the last tower in the three-building Greenpoint Landing Development, situated on a formerly industrial plot in northern Greenpoint. The tower contains 414 units, 124 of which are designated affordable, as well as a raft of amenities. The building is composed of a three-volume tower atop a black metal podium. The central volume is wrapped in aluminum window wall and designed to reference the subdivided factory-style windows once present on the site. The flanking volumes are articulated in light-colored brick, and topped by recessed glass penthouses.
