410 W 207th Street is a 727 unit 730,000 sf mixed use development in the recently rezoned Inwood neighborhood of northern Manhattan. The primary challenges of the project derived from it’s scale. Comprising three towers, two buildings, and nearly a whole city block, the project’s bulk creates an expansive street wall and a voluminous interior courtyard. The proposed design seeks to moderate the scale of the development and utilize the courtyard as a tool to foster community, both inside the development and out.
